I didn't have one of the bearing pullers as shown in the service manual to remove the Timken bearing off the sprocket shaft and bearing shops wanted over $100 for a suitable puller that I could of used.
So I took to my $30.00 gear puller and made a few mods so that the claws fitted underneath the bearing.

Just filed the claws down a bit until they fitted under the bearing, removed the linkage plates from the puller and bolted the claws straight onto the threaded body of the puller.
Worked well, nice and easy.
