Front wheel all done

Front bearings replaced, rim and spokes powder coated black, brass spoke nipples, home(shed) made truing stand, trued axially and radially.

 Here's a tip I learnt from someone about making it easier to install your tyre on the rim. Place your tube in your tyre, inflate it and leave it like this for awhile. Remove the tube and install the tyre on the rim.  The tube helps expand the tyre a bit which makes it easier to install.

 All done.

16" Rear Wheel done

Finished my 16" rear wheel:

- new bearings

- brass spoke nipples

- satin black powder coated rim 

- painted satin black diamond back spokes

Next step is to fit an Avon Gangster Whitewall tyre.
